16–18 oz Unisex Intense sparring, heavier athletes (90 kg and above) Maximum protection for you and your partner, softer impact

Before purchasing, consult with your instructor: based on your training, they will recommend the most suitable model.

Tip: Confused between two sizes? For sparring, it's better to go up an ounce to increase protection.

The choice of glove size also depends on the intended use (intensity, frequency, type of training) or the desired protection.

OZ or Ounce is a unit of mass. It represents the weight of the glove.

A heavier weight offers greater protection to the user and their training partner than a lighter weight.

Depending on the use, you can opt for a lighter pair of gloves (e.g., 10 ounces for competition) or much heavier ones

(e.g., 16 ounces for training sessions with a partner) regardless of weight.

GOAT

Greatest Of All Time

GN103 velcro · GN103L laces

In the ring, "GOAT" is not just a slogan: it's the title athletes earn. Greatest Of All Time is an expression born and raised in sports, and LEONE 1947 uses it to identify the glove built for those who train at the highest level.

GOAT comes from almost 70 years of experience in designing boxing gloves and introduces an advanced construction system: advanced knuckle protection and superior wrist stability, without ever compromising the natural fist closure.

GOAT Protection System

Multi-layer protection with different densities

The heart of the glove is an internal structure that combines multiple padding densities to progressively distribute and dissipate impact energy. The protection is not concentrated in a single layer: each level works in sequence, following a precise logic.

Absorption Protection Control Reactivity

The result is an immediate feeling of solidity on contact, with a glove that remains compact and reactive on the bag, pads, and in sparring. Not an overly soft glove. Not an overly stiff glove. A glove built to hit hard while maintaining control and protecting the athlete's hand.

Progressive Wrist Lock

Wrist. Control. Protection.

The wrist is the most critical element in glove design, and this is where GOAT makes a real difference.

Thicker wrist padding

+40%

Longer and more enveloping closure

compared to market standard

The support structure is extended and enveloping, fully accompanying the wrist and forearm, creating a progressive lock sensation: the hand remains free to move, the wrist stays put.

What changes on impact

  • greater stability during impact
  • reduction of unwanted wrist movements
  • better hand-wrist alignment
  • greater control in fist closure
  • safety in prolonged sessions

A stable glove,
not a rigid glove.

Ergonomic fit

The shape follows the hand

Compact and anatomical shape, designed on the natural conformation of the hand. The internal geometry reduces empty spaces between the hand and the glove: the fist closes sooner, with less effort in clenching, and the sensation is more precise and enveloping.

The design accompanies the natural movement from the guard position to impact. A glove designed for those seeking compactness, stability, and responsiveness.

Thumb protection

The thumb is part of the system

The thumb is integrated into the ergonomic design and naturally kept adherent to the glove structure. It improves protection, control, and ergonomics, with a direct benefit on safety in sparring. The compact construction completes the protection system without adding bulk.

Materials and construction

Comfort and resistance to daily use.

Padding

85% latex / 15% polyurethane

According to the multilayer configuration reported in the technical sheet.
