Giorgio Petrosyan was born in Yerevan (Armenia) and arrived in Italy as a teenager. He began with Muay Thai and soon established himself on the Italian and international circuits, thanks to a unique defensive style and surgical precision in his strikes.
Considered one of the greatest kickboxers of all time, Petrosyan was the first athlete to win two consecutive K-1 MAX tournaments (2009, 2010), in addition to securing titles in the Glory, ONE Championship, and Bellator Kickboxing circuits.
Nicknamed “The Doctor” for his superior technique, tactical intelligence, and defensive skill, he starred in a record-breaking 42-match unbeaten streak between 2007 and 2013, which has become legendary in combat sports.
